Paze is a digital wallet and online checkout solution that lets consumers make online purchases without sharing their card numbers with merchants. Offered through participating banks and credit unions, it provides a secure and seamless payment experience. The initiative was born from a collaboration between Early Warning Services (EWS) and a consortium of banks, including JPMorgan Chase.

My Role
As the Design Lead and Chase representative in this partnership, I led the design of the Chase in-app experience for Paze. I advocated for clear customer education to build trust in this new wallet and addressed potential concerns about security. My design streamlined the process, making it easy for users to view and manage their Chase cards within the Paze Wallet, ensuring a simple and intuitive experience.

Status: Fully live with customers. My product tour design achieved a 70% success rate in activating Paze wallets within the Chase app.
