JPMorgan Chase - Stored Cards Redesign
The Stored Card feature helps customers track where their card credentials are stored and used online, but since its launch in 2020, it faced significant challenges. Low usage and poor customer satisfaction stemmed from unclear value propositions, limited actionable features, and a lack of focus on user needs. The experience was either overwhelming or underwhelming, leaving users unsure of its benefits.
My Role
I advocated for the redesign for years, and once funding was secured, I led the design strategy and collaborated with product leaders to define the MVP for the mobile app. During Discovery and Design, I directed research, prototyping, and testing to address user pain points, and during Delivery, I oversaw two associate designers to ensure the final deliverables were accessible, actionable, and developer-ready.
Status: New design has successfully rolled out to 100% GA in November 2024.
